Designing native marketing communications for their first opening in Japan
CHALLENGE
Help a tea chain successfully launch their first Japan shop location.
SOLUTION
YiFang Taiwan Fruit Tea, with over 200 locations throughout Taiwan and mainland China, was preparing to launch ints first every store in Japan.
Looking to get some native marketing help for the new Japan market, they partnered with TAMKO for their launch.
We helped them with their Japan market segmentation, targeting, positioning, put together a communications strategy and integrated it with offline activities to maximize the outcome.
In addition to creating original content, we helped cultivate relationships with fans, identify new audiences and optimize communication with them, helping YiFang progress in Japan going forward.
RESULTS
With no advertising budget, we launched their Japanese Instagram account and grew it to 1,800 followers within the first 3 months off of purely organic strategies. We maintained active engagement, achieving a 19.97% engagement rate during this time, almost triple the industry average. YiFang has since expanded to more locations in Japan.
