  • We work with agencies and organizations that are active in or planning to enter the Japanese market. Our clients include consumer brands, B2B companies, hospitality and tourism businesses, educational institutions, government agencies, and more.

  • Projects are carried out by our internal team along with trusted external collaborators when needed. For Japanese market work, communication is handled in native-level English, while planning and strategy are developed jointly by native English and Japanese team members to ensure accurate localization. All Japanese-language deliverables are handled by native-level professionals with experience working on fully domestic projects in Japan. Team size and composition depend on the project’s complexity.

  • Yes. While Japan is our primary market, we also support clients targeting other regions. For example, we've helped Japanese government agencies communicate internationally, worked with U.S.-based clients domestically, and supported cross-border campaigns through the TAM Group and our partners.

  • No. We share a small curated number of case studies on our site and brand deck, but the totality of our work covers a much wider range.

  • Yes we do, though we’re selective to ensure we can dedicate the right resources. We typically start with a conversation to determine whether there’s a good fit and agree on services together. If you have an RFP, feel free to send it our way.

  • It depends on the scope. While we prioritize ongoing work, we’re open to one-off projects if the timeline and requirements align with our team’s availability. Let us know what you need, and we’ll let you know if we can assist.

  • Our company, TAMKO X, Inc., is registered in Honolulu, Hawaii, USA. Our parent company, the TAM Group, is registered in Osaka, Japan. Most of our team is based in Japan.

    The TAM Group has additional independently operating companies in Singapore, Taipei, London and Amsterdam.

  • We typically bill either monthly or in milestones (e.g., 50% upfront, 50% on delivery), depending on the project. We accept wire transfers, local bank transfers, and credit card payments (3% processing fee). Most billing is done in USD.
